Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Road Trippin' to Penn State

This weekend my whole family drove out to Penn State to see my {baby} sister Christine graduate!

{the Cannon bunch}

It was so much fun to have the whole family together for the weekend and to celebrate Christine's achievements over the last 4 years. I can't believe that she is old enough to be a college graduate. Just four years ago, Kimberly and I went up to visit her as a young freshman. We went to a football game in the snow and drank Red Bull & vodkas until I felt ill. My how times have changed!

I'm so thrilled and proud of Christine and excited for her to begin her next chapter of her life. In my opinion, life only gets better and better throughout the 20s {and early 30s}! Not only was it Christine's graduation, but also Penelope's first road trip. I'm please to say that she slept for the entire 4 hour drive, both on the way there and on the way home. All in all, it was a great weekend!

Have you been on any road trips lately?
