Sweet Shower
This weekend I went to a baby shower for my great friend Kelly.
We've been friends for around 18 years now.
Doesn't that sound crazy? 18 years?!
She is a wonderful friend. She is always incredibly thoughtful, the best at keeping in touch and the kind of friend who you can always count on. These kinds of friends are few and far between and I'm always thankful to have a friend like her.
I was thrilled to celebrate with her yesterday and she prepares for her first child. Her family threw a beautiful shower and I wanted to share some of the prettiness. Congratulations Kelly!
some refreshing mimosas (especially since it was 80 degrees yesterday!), cute chocolate party favors and adorable place cards with little owls on them...
her sister thought of every detail for this forest-themed shower!
warm pretzel rolls with raspberry mustard...
I must find out how to make these.
cheese and little garlic flatbreads...
and delicious cupcakes, big and small
and I'm a little obsessed with this cute animal wrapping paper for baby that I used for her gift...
So there you have it. The makings of a great shower on a beautiful day!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Questions of the day:
How did you spend your weekend?
Have you ever been to a baby shower? I think I've only been to one or two before this!

Love these pictures - I don't know that I've had any friends for 18 years unless they are related to me!
I've been craving mimosa's too - maybe a post-marathon brunch treat!
