Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

eats lately

Admittedly, my eating as of late has been a bit of a free for all. Between 3 weeks of sickness, a week in Las Vegas (plus long hours leading up to it), a long camping weekend, and just the thrill of summer has led me down a path of pretty delicious though not all together healthy eats. This week I'm trying to get myself back on track and since I haven't done a What I Ate in a while, I thought it would be fun to recap lots of fun eats I've been enjoying over the last month.

What have you been eating lately?

Love Giada's - so glad you got to enjoy the lemon spaghetti on your recent trip.

Sandy - I made the lemon cookies from Giada's recipe and they were great. They even freeze well so you don't have to eat the whole batch (like that would happen!)
