Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Happy Friday!

We've had a rough week 'round these parts. Penelope woke up on Easter Sunday with a fever and a cold that has continued to linger throughout the week. I can't remember a time when I needed Friday to be here more than today. Tomorrow, we are looking at a summer daycamp for P and then heading out for date night. Shaun surprised me with tickets to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which I'd been talking about for months and months, and I've been listening to the soundtrack on loop all week. We'll also be stopping for drinks and dinner and I'm just really ready for a fun night out after a trying week! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Meanwhile, here's some links to keep you distracted today:
