Five Things Friday
{rooftop cheese board; I can't get enough of the creamy brie + fig jam}
Happy Friday, everyone! I apologize for some scarce posting this week, but I've been abnormally busy and tired and so I'm just kind of catching up. I have lots more post ideas in the works, so hopefully next week will be back to normal! Last weekend we had our annual trip to Lewes, DE. No matter how many times we go, or how long we stay for, it's never enough. Since I didn't get around to a proper recap, today's Five Things Friday is all about our Lewes trip! I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy this truly A-mazing weather we are having!
{organic switchel c/o CideRoad; America's original thirst quencher}
{Dogfish Head flights}
{Lewes-Cape May Ferry sailing into port}
{a super seafood feast on our last evening}
And here's some more Five Things Fun to start your weekend:
Five Foodie Things:
This autumn bourbon sangria had me lacing up my boots & putting on a cozy sweater
7 condiments to always keep in your kitchen {I'd say yes to all, swapping out sriacha for Frank's red hot + nutella for classic PB}
I can't wait to try this green chili in the crockpot
Pumpkin snickerdoodle blossoms; I'm kinda over putting pumpkin spice in everything, but these are on my must-try list!
This giant caramel apple cinnamon bun w/cream cheese glaze. If it's one giant bun, that means it's a serving for one person...right?
Five Things I Pop Cultured:
Neil Patrick Harris got married this weekend to another equally as handsome {and let's face it, probably awesome} man
Dexter (aka Michael C. Hall) is taking over in Hedwig & the Angry Inch {and I'm totes going to get tickets for that one!}
11 actors who apparently suck as co-workers
This Gone Girl-inspired Pinterest account might be the most ingenius marketing ploy I've ever seen
Get out your stretchy pants and cozy up on the couch for a serious binge; Gilmore Girls is coming to Netflix!
Five Other Things I Dug This Week:
This article on raising children in the shadow of 9/11 really resonated with me; I know I will be dealing with these same questions from Penelope someday.
Why is this never-ending pasta pass necessary in life? I guess it is though, because it sold out.
8 movies that feature autumn as a supporting character; When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail are 2 of my all-time faves
What does that sugar-free label really mean?
I love these tips on dressing for TV; great tips for simply dressing to flatter your own body and look profesh!
oh and also...
cute baby devouring an ice cream sandwich.
Have a great weekend all!
