Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Park It

Earlier this week, I took Penelope for her 15 month doctors appointment. The office resides just off of a gorgeous park and it was one of the very rare beautiful spring days that was warm yet cool, the cherry blossoms were in bloom, and it was just too amazing outside to be indoors. Penelope was such a champ at her appointment and so I took her to the park for a little while afterwards to play. Though she refused the swings, she was in a state of pure joy when she got to run free and stretch her legs.

I'm going to hide under the covers and cry now...didn't I just bring her home from the hospital?
