Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Five Things Friday

It's a Mom&Dad edition this week as Shaun and I have gotten a little time to ourselves over the last few weeks. Shaun's parents gave us tickets to see Motown the Musical and babysat Penelope while we had a nice brunch and afternoon at the theater. We also went down to Atlantic City for an evening to belatedly celebrate Shaun's birthday while my parents took Penelope for the evening. It's been a great few weeks and I'm excited for the long weekend ahead. We've got lots of fun things on the menu, including taking some time to observe Memorial Day. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and holiday weekend ahead!
