Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Five Things Friday

Somehow it's Friday once again. The weeks continue to fly by in the Humiston household. I'm getting more and more comfortable taking Penelope places and so this afternoon we're heading into Manhattan for her first official NYC trip. This weekend, we will be relaxing a bit and indulging in some delicious St. Patrick's Day eats. I'll probably skip the green beer in favor of some chocolate stout cakes, soda bread and corned beef. I rounded up some delicious Irish-themed eats that I've made over the years that are worth repeating. I wish I had time to make them all again this year! Have a wonderful weekend!
