Woops
Last night I ate a piece of cake. And then I ate another one. This morning my stomach feels like a hole is burning into it.
I have a basket of clean laundry waiting to be folded and put away for three days now.
I've been picking my cuticles like mad and am too lazy to paint them. If I did though, I'd go with On Stage by OPI for Sephora.
Call me crazy but I really would like one snow storm. It's been raining for the last day or so and all I can think is...this could be snow!
I miss our trip to Spain and Switzerland. And drinking cervezas in the middle of the day, well into the night, and just not feeling badly about it.
I haven't gone running in over a week.
I'm considering cutting my hair, like it was a few years ago. Short. Shaun likes my hair long...but I'm kind of over it looking long and lifeless. thoughts?
here's me now:
here's me then:
It doesn't help that I was also 10 pounds lighter in these photos...perhaps that's actually the look I'm longing for :)
And yeah...those two pieces of cake last night just isn't going to help me in that department...
What are your woops moments this week? Please tell me I'm not alone!

hey it happens! LOL! At least it happens to me all the time!
girl for me all of last WEEK was an entire woops! it was a perfect storm of getting burnt out on WW, stress from my son's 1st bday party and :ahem: that time of the month. i ate whatever whenever all week. got it out of my system and then felt gross. this week i was actually looking forward to eating healthy again! we all gotta binge sometime! (oh and my weakness is fries...)
also a few months ago i did the same hair transformation you are talking about. it was about your length and i took a good 6" off. it felt so liberating! do it! it's already grown back a few inches anyway :-)
I totally hear you...why does it seem like all things converge at the same time?! I'm thinking of donating my hair...I need to find out how many inches it would need to be and then how short it would be on me!
I feel like I practically wrote this post myself, many many times!
don't beat yourself up - we all have whoops moments, weeks + days. =) i had a little too much quality time with some malted milkball gelato yesterday - definitely an oops moment, but worth it! by the way, your hair looks good both long or short, although i really love the shorter cut on you. cute!
I loved this blog you wrote. How honest it is and how we all long for a look we had a few years ago.
I know the "I just ate all that feeling" all too well this week - especially the cake part! I love short hair too - but I think that might because I'm a) lazy and b) love the 20's bob. I think it flatters every face shape!
