Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Welcome to my world!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi there!

It's Valentine's Day, and so I got you a card.

Though this one is my own personal favorite:

To send your own zombie card, you may check out them out here. It's the obvious Valentine's Day choice, after all.

Tonight Shaun and I will be making steak and mashed potatoes for dinner and drinking a bottle of wine. And possibly even eating a few one of these:

I hope you all have a great day!

xo,

Rachel

Happy Valentine's Day Rachel! I have to tell you...when I saw your first post about the red velvet oreo cheesecake cupcakes, I sent the link to my boyfriend and said "I know what you can get me for Valentine's Day!" (jokingly, of course..) Then Valentine's Day came, and he had actually made them for me! :0 And they were oh so delicious. :) So thank you for making my Valentine's Day! Hope yours was wonderful as well!

Ok, that might actually be the cutest story ever!! I am so happy that you had a wonderful V-day and that my cheesecakes were a part of it :) And it sounds like you've got a serious keeper on your hands!! Hope all is going great with you Stine!
