Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Five Things Friday

{cool S train wrap promoting the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade} No matter how old I get, I still love watching the parade every Thanksgiving morning before the day's festivities begin.

Somehow, it's Friday once again. I have a fairly relaxing weekend planned, which includes a movie date night to see Skyfall with my love, lunch with great friends and finishing some home improvement projects for Baby TAA's room. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, and here's to a short holiday week ahead!

{new shorter haircut} I feel like a weight has been lifted. Literally.

{baby gifts from sweet blog friends} I received an incredibly thoughtful package of gifts for Baby TAA from the lovely Lindsay, writer of The Lean Green Bean, one of my favorite blogs. The best thing about blogging has been meeting so many wonderful people. Thank you so much for these sweet little gifts! This is one lucky baby.

{essie leading lady} I couldn't help but pick up this gorgeous sparkly red from their latest collection...a perfect holiday accessory.

{28 weeks pregnant} I'm getting bigger and my post-Sandy commute to and from work is already taking its toll, but I continue to be one happy pregnant lady.
