Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

I'm in Switzerland!

Well technically I've been in Switzerland since Wednesday evening. How ARE you all? I hope you enjoyed Kim's and Lauren's posts this week, they are rock stars!

I don't have much time to give you an update, but thought some eye candy from Zug would do. Yesterday we spent the day in Zug, a small town/city outside of Zurich (where we are staying) so Shaun could work and I could sightsee. And by sightsee, I mean sit, eat, read, and take in the unbelievable scenery!

Gorgeous town of Zug

The way coffee should be drank...with an entire glass of steamed milk added!

Hedwig, what are you doing here

Breakfast of champions

Is there a better way to spend an afternoon?

Today I'm off in search of many bars of chocolate and to explore the gorgeous city of Zurich. I'm already in love and sad that tomorrow our trip will come to a close! How is your Friday treating you? Any weekend plans?
