Hi, I'm Rachel.

A few years ago I could barely boil water.

True story.

Determined to be a kick ass wife, I developed a love for football and learned to cook in my tiny Jersey City kitchen. I spend my days working in Manhattan, my nights and weekends chasing after a rambunctious toddler, and the hours in between cooking with my husband and feeding my TV habit...oh, and I blog about it all!

Eating Through Madison Square Park

"Don't you just love New York in the Fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies..."
-YGM

Fall is my favorite season, and there really isn't anything better than New York in the Fall. While there may not be an abundance of leaves changing color, the wind is a little quicker, the street carts smell a little better, boot & scarves are in full force, and pumpkin & apple make their first appearances into cuisine for the year. This past weekend, I embraced a beautiful New York evening at Madison Square Park, where shops and food stands have sprung up. From now till the end of October, check it out for some delicious eats, outside in the cool New York air. Check out my video of the opening night, where S and I sampled lots of food and drink. If you have the means, I recommend checking it out (my video, and the festival)!
