So...I had a baby on Saturday night!

Penelope Jane Humiston joined us on February 2, 2013, weighing in at 7lbs 2oz and 19 inches in length. We are all doing great and are obviously so in love with our little sweet P!

Thank you so much for all of your well wishes over the last months, weeks and days. You are the best and I couldn't wait to tell you all our most amazing news! More to come soon!

Meanwhile, we'll be snuggling up our little girl...

Five Things Friday

{still pregnant @ 40 weeks + 2 days}

Yup, it's true. I'm still here and pregnant. I'm really hoping that she will make her appearance this weekend. We keep telling her that everyone is waiting to meet her and now she is entering past the fashionably late territory. Oh and that since it's a weekend, it would really be convenient for Aunt Christine since she came home from school for the occasion. In all honesty, I know it only matters that she gets here safely and healthy and she will get moving when she is ready. I just hope that on Monday I have some news for you :)

{L'Oreal paparazzi pleaser} I had never used L'Oreal nail polish before, but received a few gorgeous shades for Christmas. I really love this nail polish. It went on beautifully, has a shiny sheen and has yet to chip. I'm a fan.

{kate spade earrings} Oversized and brightly colored, I love these earrings so much. They dress up any outfit and these days, my favorite way to wear them is with an American Apparel Tri-blend tee, a cute scarf and my make-up faves.

{bosc pears} maybe not the prettiest fruit, but when ripe they are so juicy and delicious...a perfect afternoon snack.

{iphone handset} makes working from home so much easier! No more speaker phone or jamming my iPhone into my ear. I received this as a Secret Santa exchange in 2011 and it's one of my all-time favorite gifts.
