My Favorite Products Right Now

Rachel in What About Me Wednesday

Happy hump day! We got a bit of snow overnight and I'm wishing our work day could have a 2 hour delay like local schools. Alas, it's just another regular day of the grind.

For today's What About Me Wednesday, I want to share with you some of my favorite products. I'm a big product person. I work in consumer products by day, and I am extremely brand + product loyal. So for today's WAMW, I'm rounding up some of my favorite products that I've been using of late. I may have mentioned some of these in the past, but, well...I really just can't get enough.

Almond Breeze
Is there anything it can’t do? From smoothies to baked oatmeal (stay tuned!), this is a miracle milk. It’s smooth and creamy, yet dairy and soy free. I fell off the soy milk train due to it’s funky taste. Give me almond milk any day.

Lush Shampoo & Conditioner Bars
Handmade and chemical free, I’m officially a convert to these organic hair care products. Not to mention they leave the bathroom smelling extra fab post-shower. Thanks to my sister Christine for getting me hooked on Lush!

Kiehl’s Tinted Moisturizer
When I opened no less than 5 different skin care products in my Christmas stocking (with a ‘It’s time girls!’ from Mom), I knew I’d be on my way to dewrinkled, glowing skin in a matter of months. My favorite product though? Kiehl’s Tinted Moisturizer in Light. I’m super fair and this light moisturizer not only keeps my skin even-toned and my face from looking like the undead (True Blood-style), but it also has SPF. Oh and it doesn’t look like orangey spray tan either. Bonus.

Aquaphor
It’s kind of like Vaseline. It has magical healing abilities for those of us whose lips have rebelled against the cold winter. My sister Kimberly got me hooked on this one. What can I say, the Cannons are all product obsessed.

Immersion Blender
I know I’ve spoken about this before, but it really is a miracle worker. I use mine every morning to make my on-the-go smoothies. I simply pour all of the ingredients into a giant glass measuring cup and blend away. Clean up is a snap since the metal stick part detaches and goes in the dishwasher. ‘Nuff said.

Pre-made pizza dough
It’s a dinner-saver and our go-to on every single Tuesday night since I have zumba and pilates until 9pm. For a mere $1.75, I pick up some fresh whole wheat dough from the refrigerator section of the grocery store. It's the base for this delicious meal...

Acaica Cutting Board
I really love this thing. I use it every single day. It’s super sturdy. No cracks or crevices. It doesn’t wiggle around when I use it. It’s cutting board perfection.

Capri yoga pants...for running
No rubbing or jiggling. It’s a good way to get any sort of exercise on.

Behr paint
Shaun and I have painted all of 3 spots in our new home. 2 closets and 1 bathroom. For all 3, we got down with Behr paint and primer in one semigloss. I love. Oh and did I mention that we actually used Benjamin Moore colors for 2 of the 3 (BM’s White Rain and Stonington Gray...in love with both of these colors...and Behr’s Moon Rise for our recently renovated den closet), and the people at Home Depot matched it for Behr. One good coat has been all we’ve needed in all 3 spots.

So there you have it. A little roundup of the products I've been loving of late. What are some of your favorite products?

By the by...no one paid or perked me or any of my relatives for these mentions. I honestly just love all of these products and thought I should let you all in on the secret.
